Nice room. Nice hotel. Shuttle was great. Active happy hour. Nice pool area. Don't arrive on a Sunday evening and expect to eat on site. But Matt's had great breakfast.

This is a wonderful old mansion. I love that they did NOT modernize it to the point it’s lost its charm and character. The staff were amazing. The room was nice, clean and cool with a nice view. I would highly recommend staying here. The only negatives experienced is the noise level. Be prepared to hear propane trucks at 6 in the morning stopping at the cafe and the smell of the seaweed can get pretty rough. So if you’re a light sleeper (which unfortunately I am) or if your sense of smell is sensitive, you may not want to stay here. I would give the entire experience here an 8 out 10. I’d give it a 10, but the “traffic and smell” can get to be a little much. However if “old homes” and having an amazing cafe (which serves amazing food, just a few feet away) sounds good to you, thus is your place.

Oceans edge is a must stay for any that’s traveling to Key West I highly recommend this property wonderful staff cleanliness.

The Gardens was a like a hidden sanctuary in the midst of Key West. The hospitality was beyond reproach. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The sleeping room was clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and pool bar, the live music every evening, and the gentle breezes on our porch each evening. It will be our “go to” hotel (seemed more like a cottage untouched by time) whenever we visit Key West. Gracias for a memorable stay!

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The staff were extremely responsive to text requests and the food and bar beverages were very good and fairly priced. My only feedback is 1 - I purposely booked this hotel because it was one of the only ones with private beach access. Unfortunately, the seaweed was PILED higher the shoreline and it STUNK so badly it was making we gag. I think they could have done more to ensure the beach was properly cleared and people could enjoy. No one were sitting in beach chairs, likely for the same reasons. We spent zero time on the beach and the pool chairs were all taken plus the pool was mobbed with people and looked pretty gross. The other feedback is that check in and the desk processes seemed to take a long time, even with a lot of staff helping.

The room and balcony were fantastic. The pool, grounds, and view of the ocean were lovely. The staff was super welcoming and friendly when we arrived. We enjoyed the close restaurant and walking path right across the street.

Our room was spacious and clean, with a bag of Key Lime cookies waiting for us on arrival. We appreciated boxed instead of bottled water that was always available in-room at no extra cost. But the thing we enjoyed most was the secluded Bali Bar, which was hidden away from busy Duvall Street. The live music was excellent and the. bar tenders were very accommodating. There are many hotels and places to stay in Key West but we would definitely return to this one. Highly recommend!
