Lower Keys Fishing Vacations

Good price. Nice grounds. Clean room. Nice staff.

We stayed in a duplex with our kids. The property showed some wear and could use a bit of maintenance, but considering the price—and the excellent location just 45 minutes from Key West, 15 minutes from the Seven Mile Bridge, and close to other attractions—it wasn’t bad at all. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The location itself isn’t fancy, but it’s quiet, tucked away, and peaceful. A cute and friendly family of Key deer visited us every day, which was an awesome experience, especially for the kids. At night, we walked to the bridge with flashlights and were able to spot fish, crabs, and even a shark. We also rented kayaks from the office for $30 for the whole day, which was a great deal. Kayaking along the shore was beautiful—we saw fish, an octopus, and another shark. Winn-Dixie is only a 10‑minute drive away and has a good variety of groceries, which was very convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
