Venice Lido Fishing Vacations

This was a beautiful property in the northern part of Venice. It was great that it accommodated our family of 5 and our kids loved that the room had 2 floors. It had a great breakfast with a lot of options. It is about a 25 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and about 40 minute walk to Doge Palace. Walking around is a great way to see and experience the city, but if you are going to want to see the main sights on the opposite side of the city you may want to get the 24 hour water bus pass. Online told me that walking would be the fastest way to get around, but with 3 kids I would have preferred to take the water bus more often to let them rest their legs. It was within easy walking distance to a water bus stop (S. Alvise) and an Alilaguna (airport water boat transfer) stop (Madonna del'Orto). The wifi worked well, but be aware that cell service is spotty around Venice. The hotel will give you a paper map, but downloading the Venice map in Google maps in advance will help you navigate.

Excellent location

This property is located very central to all the great restaurants and shops. Room was clean, spacious and the staff was outstanding. Breakfast had a little bit of everything. Highly recommended.

Hotel is very lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was great and dinner was delicious. We did not have lunch at the hotel because we were out and about. A big shout out goes to the staff at reception desk, they were accommodating to our checkout needs.

This is a great hotel at the wrong side of the canal. Going from one side to the other is only a nuisance but it makes a difference. Having said that, we still like the hotel given the cost value relationship

Amazing location, friendly staff and wonderful experience. The room was huge, staff was super friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was very varied and delicious ! The beachfront property was truly amazing. Free boat service to St-Mark's square was super useful. An item was forgotten in our room upon departure and the service was impeccable. Yes, it was more expensive in general but with the pool and the beach during a heatwave, it was truly worth it.
