Zanzibar Fishing Vacations

Extremely slow check in and “room assignments.” Location of bedroom was in a place very noisy all day and all night long. Besides, we had to sleep with the window open (which didn’t help with the noise either) as the smell of the room was very strong (probably a chemical for the mosquitoes). Breakfast was ok. Location was very good close to Stone Town little streets and port.

Breakfast was nice. This hotel is near the sights in Stone Town. Walk through the narrow shopping streets to the slave market in just a few minutes. Freddie Mercury residence is just around the corner from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, although I did have to ask 4 times to get the TV working.

The eco-friendly resort is a little gem. The cuisine is varied and excellent—even by Italian standards—with an outstanding breakfast offering both sweet and savory options. The air-conditioned bungalows, equipped with mosquito nets, were serviced multiple times a day, including the spraying of mosquito repellent.Efficient and very friendly staff.Top-notch security.
