Room was dirty. Toilet was broken. Buffet was full of old offerings. Do NOT book here.
We asked the concierge for a day trip to Zanzibar. Totally ripped us off. Huge kickback to hotel. No meals provided. Tour of Spice Farm and Stonetown did not happen. They wanted to force us to do a zip line. Had to hire motorcycles to miss the last ferry and had to purchase new ferry tickets on a competitor. Wanted an extra fee to return us to our hotel, since we were “late”. Total for two women for the day was $724.

Great hotel in Zanzibar !! Wonderful rooms and villas, delicious food (breakfast and dinner), fresh fruit and freshly made meals.
Quiet environment, lovely swimming pool and friendly staff. Hotel is clean, very well located and installations are beautiful (very authentic).
We just loved our time there !!

Extremely slow check in and “room assignments.” Location of bedroom was in a place very noisy all day and all night long. Besides, we had to sleep with the window open (which didn’t help with the noise either) as the smell of the room was very strong (probably a chemical for the mosquitoes). Breakfast was ok. Location was very good close to Stone Town little streets and port.
