Europe Eco-friendly Vacations

This was a wonderful property and stay. The only thing better would be to have a free breakfast. However, there were other businesses close by that we could get pastries from. The hotel offered breakfast, but you had to pay for it. This was very close to the train stop. We used it to go in and out of the city and to go back to the airport once we figured out how easy it was to use it.

Location of the hotel is excellent! Walkable to all the main tourist spots. Hotel staff were excellent, very friendly. Room was nice, love the retro style rooms, however the bathrooms really need an upgrade. Room was clean enough but bathroom was a little grubby in areas, and there was a big stain on the duvet that I noticed when it was poking out the bottom of the cover. Overall, I liked the hotel and would definitely return.

Beautiful room. Extremely quiet! We loved the breakfast and bike rentals. One of our favorite hotels ever

The property was beautiful. It was easy to maneuver if you need some assistance. They did a great job making it feel that it was in a place on its own, even thought it was walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing, with the buffet being well spread out and/ or you can order off the à la cart menu… or both. The resturant(s) at the hotel had a great selection and we enjoyed the meals that we had. I would recommend the reservation at the time of check in for the tasting menu. We had not and missed the experience. Note: the water you need to pay for, a suggestion is to go down to the supermarket and pick up some bottles, much less expensive. You can also pick up some drinks and put them in the fridge that is available in your room, One of the downfalls is the pool. It was only about 3 to 4 feet deep and you cannot swim a length as it was small and during our stay it was extremely hot and would enjoyed to be in the pool a little longer, however the pool was quite busy and hard to maneuver around the people. Overall great stay.

Great comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast. Really good Italian restaurant in the hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

The property was beautiful, private and true 5 star hotel! The food and wine were wonderful as well as the staff and service in general! The roof garden is an extra plus! Forbes has named this hotel One of the finest hotels in the World for 2026 and believe me it lived up to this distinction in every way!
