Switzerland Eco-friendly Vacations

The room was sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious and very welcoming staff.

We returned for our second stay because we love everything about this hotel! It is ideally located near Lake Zurich, the Old Town, and the railway station. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic and convenient for families with young children. Above all, the front desk team is incredible—huge thanks to Ksenia for always being so welcoming and helpful!

The hotel is clean, well maintained and kind staff is always available to help. The kids were very happy 😊

Location, Check-In, Room, A/C, and Bed were all great. If that was all to rating a room it would be a 10 out of 10. However, the plumbing has major problems. The shower is very poorly designed, with water flowing out to the bathroom floor. The room I had happened to have a drain problem in the shower, causing the shower to flood the bathroom floor and run out into the room. This while I was trying to prepare for an early check-in and flight that morning. Instead of a relaxing morning getting ready, I had the chaos of maintenance workers vacuuming up water while I finished getting read to leave. This was not a one-time event for which I was the unlucky guest, but, as per the maintenance staff happens with some regularity because when the hotel was remodeled the floor drains in the bathroom were removed. To top things off, when checking out I brought it to the attention of the front desk staff, All they would do is offer their apologies and platitudes, despite my directly asking for some compensation for the inconvenience. I would love to give the Radisson Blu Zuerich Airport my endorsement, but I cannot give it a recommendation with the plumbing issue and more to the point their lack of customer care and assistance in the aftermath of their facilities problem.
