We were early for check in but staff was so nice they took our luggage and stored it we sat in the lobby Breakfast was amazing but my day was brightened by Julianna she was like a breath of fresh air very bubbly full of life and joy Treated everyone with the same energy and made you feel welcomed I loved my stay in Ashling Hotel Florence

The hotel was so clean and well maintained. Staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. The check in process was quick and easy. Our room was spacious and clean. My only criticism would be that when we went for breakfast it was so busy and it just didn’t seem like it was being managed very well. People were been led into the restaurant when no tables were available which resulted in them having to just stand around waiting while people were trying to get around with their food.

Careful about which clayton hotel you book!

When we arrived the hotel had changed ownership between the time of booking and the date of arrival. They told me I had to pay for our night and that I did not have breakfast included when that was what I had already booked and paid for. They eventually reversed the charge for the night but they said I had to speak to someone else about the breakfast because it was not included. The next morning was very early and I had wanted to get breakfast to go and did not have time to argue with another person about getting the breakfast that I paid for. Not a great experience. I'm sure it would have been fine if the hotel had remained a Radisson, but now that it is Clayton they seem to have issues honouring past booking arrangements.

this hotel is located right downtown within walking distance to everything, the lobby is nice and had complimentary water, the rooms are comfy and have old school hot and cold water faucets. They have a show downstairs at night that is well worth going to. We had a great time here
