Beautiful room

The apartments are very spacious. Although sometimes (depending on the room) the furniture is uncomfortable. Beds are very comfortable (not hard). Building 2 aircon is not good if you feel the heat, but if you're lucky you can get a great view of the city. Building 1 aircon is amazing, downside is you're very close to your neighbours in the building next door. Overall, a great place to stay, great restaurants nearby, secure parking if you want to pay for it.

On arrival everything was quick and staff polite and helpful. Our room had a great view of the river (1910) and Kangaroo Point Bridge. Breakfast was ample in proportion but on two of the three days of our stay the coffee machine wasn’t working. The staff tried to assist by making coffee elsewhere but it slowed the process considerably. The decor is aging but bathrooms have been refurbished so a nice touch. Rooms are a good size as was the bathroom. It was quite cold during our visit and the airconditioning only cooled, just wouldn’t heat the room so a little cool at night and early morning. Overall a great location and very acceptable.

Location is fantastic. Station for the airport bus and train station easily within walking distance. Brisbanes Queen street mall is approximately 15 min walk, and the South bank recreation area a couple of blocks away. We Hired a vehicle from Avis, just around the corner, and drove to Movie World. Getting from the appartments to the Princess motorway was easy and relatively stress free. If you are requiring use of the apartment car park, check costing with the Ivy & Eve directly as it is only included in price if dealing direct, otherwise there is a $25.00 a night parking fee. The kids enjoyed the ample lap pool while mum and dad relaxed in the spa. I would have no trouble in returning next time We travel to Brisbane.
