There is a LOT of construction going on around the property, BUT, we honestly couldn’t hear any of it from our room, and we even had the window open. Now we did come during MidSommar so I know things shut down early but there were ear plugs in our soon so if you had an issue with it you could wear those.
The breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel in my life. I would definitely go back here, even with construction, just for the food.
The room was neat and clean and the staff was friendly. We had a car that we told them about ahead of time so parking for us wasn’t an issue, but it is limited right in front of the hotel. There is more parking around the hotel but I don’t know how payment would work for that. All in all it was a terrific stay. It was so good in fact we decided to stay at its sister hotel in Gothenburg for our stay later on in our vacation.

Stay at hotel, not at the hostel
"Staying in the hotel or the cottages must be nice, but at the hostel, the room was really small and not so clean. And if you are coming from the ferry, you'll have to walk a while with your luggage. It was really quiet in September, but it was nice."
