Great location and very clean room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was great, alot of options.

The condo was spacious and the cleaning staff actually came in 3 times over the 8 day period we were there. They did a wonderful job of keeping the condo spotless. We loved the huge patio with a partial ocean view. We would often sit out there in the late afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese. Tons of closet and dresser drawers for our clothing. It's a beautiful facility with a wonderful pool area and an excellent on site restaurant.

Outstanding hotel, upgraded on arrival. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent pools for kids, great kids club, very good gym. We were not even playing golf, just a great place regardless of golfing or not. On site restaurants/cafes a little too expensive if staying on site. Recommend hiring a car to get out and explore local vicinity/restaurants etc. overall fantastic hotel for a family or couples.

The property is expansive, beautiful and well maintained. We were warmly greeted at reception and granted early check in. We were given a tour of the property via a golf cart then deposited at our lovely Elegant Suite. So far so good. One of the primary reasons we booked Vilalara is because of they have a spa. We don't typically book services but we love using the sauna, steamer, and other amenities. We stopped at the spa and were given a brief tour. We were not shown the thalassa features, so I can't tell you what they entail, but we did see the cold plunge tub, a small windowless relaxation room, a small sauna and steamer. This area was not very large or impressive for a spa property and the resort charges 22 Euro per person, per day to use it. No where on their website, or any affiliated sites was this published. We would not have booked this hotel if we had known about the upcharge. Also, their website says they have a jacuzzi but none of the three outdoor pools had a spa. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the gorgeous beach and pools but a cool day would have been miserable. Other disappointments were inconsistent housekeeping; one night we had no turndown service at all and other nights we had only the delivery of water. We constantly had to ask for coffee pods and/or cream. The gym is lovely and they have high end cardio but need additional free weights, one set of each weight is inadequate. The breakfast staff and food were wonderful, but we will not return.

The staff was very kind and welcoming! Everything is really clean, more modern than the pictures. We would come back!

We rented a poolside view apartment for 5 nights, as did two other groups we were traveling with. Pros: pool areas are good, excellent for toddlers, large resort, covering large area, lots of free parking, access to cliffside trails was nice w/ good views, staff all friendly and competent, resort restaurants served tasty food. Cons: there appeared to be very little investment into the maintenance of the facilities. I mean everything...exteriors and interiors. For example, in our room the cold water valve under the sink was turned off because the faucet leaked badly when it was turned on. The refrigerator and freezer doors didn't shut and seal regularly because the cabinets and cabinet doors were all askew. All the wicker patio furniture was frayed and in rough shape. The one couch in the living room was missing all the backrest cushions. The latch/lock for the property gate to the trails was broken off, looked like it had been that way for a long time. The spa area was underwhelming. I definitely wouldn't call it a luxury resort and wouldn't feel it was worth the money if I'd paid more than a couple hundred dollars a night.
