I'm sure at some point, this hotel was very nice, however, it is now mediocre at best. I will say that I mistook this location to be a 4 star, which is my mistake, as I was reciewing many options prior to booking. The hotel is very dated and could use some upgrading. The amenities are lacking and the stated available services are not true. For instance, they advertised that room service is available, but when I called I was told that room service was "not working." Moreover, the phones don't allow one to use the assigned buttons to reach the various hotel service providers and many of the buttons do not work and are no longer labeled properly. However, on a very positive side, the staff was quite helpful in accommodating to the best of their abilities. They were friendly, professional, and always presented themselves well. The shuttle service albeit not as timely as stated was a great option to use when navigating to and from the metro train station. The location was very convenient to allow us to enjoy the activities around America's 250th birthday. And I was thankful that we were able to be so close and conveniently located to everything. Thank you for the experience.
