Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends.

I really enjoyed my stay at Contessina Suites & Spa. The suites were beautiful, comfortable, and gave me a great place to relax. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but from what I saw, I think it could have been a little bigger. The gym opening at 10 AM was a bit late for me since I prefer getting my workout in early. Breakfast was good overall, although I did notice there weren’t many options for guests who don’t eat pork, while there seemed to be plenty for those who do. That said, the staff really made up for the little things. They were incredibly sweet, kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Great hospitality can make a big difference, and the team at Contessina definitely made my stay a pleasant one. ❤️ Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

The rooms were pristine, and housekeeping were fantastic, cleaned, towels changed etc.. daily. All staff from reception, bar, restaurant to cart drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside was they didn’t (unlike adjacent hotel) provide a cart to transfer residents up/down the hill from the hotel to the main road/town, and the bar closing at 11pm.

Very clean hotel , amazing staff. Both bars had amazing drinks with friendly service. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
