Good hotel just not the best location

The view was amazing! We didn’t want to leave

The restaurant on top of the hotel is very unique. Room was clean. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Hotel is located in a great area, lots to see and do.

Stunning property nestled between a couple of other related properties. Very quiet and beautiful grounds, rooms and accommodations. The staff are incredible; friendly, welcoming and eager to help make the stay a pleasure - and it was. We spent 5 days here; 5 days of that truly decadent breakfast, 5 days enjoying the luxurious grounds and service. Lana and the staff here made us feel like family. Arkoudi, the nearby town, is wonderful and has some great restaurants and a really nice bay beach if you find you want to explore outside this Grecotel resort area. My work brought us here, and it's been a lovely discovery - we would like to return to the area and the Mandola Rosa for another trip in the future!

The lobby, and restaurant area look pretty good. But the rooms definitely need an upgrade. Air conditioning not working properly all the time, you have to bang the door to the room to close it and open it, no coffee/tea amenities in room, no iron, no robe, no slippers. No bellhop to help with luggage. I have fallen on the front steps of the hotel twice because the steps didn’t have enough light and floor markers. No one came to help me even though I’m sure I was visible to the desk staff through the glass doors.

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were kind and helpful not only with things to do with the property but also recommendations for food and activities. The list of amenities is extensive and very useful. They have a same day / overnight laundry service as well as their spa features. The property is in a very good and safe location. Walking to and from the hotel felt safe and lively with restaurants and shops very near by. The view of the Acropolis from the room we had was breathtaking and definitely a highlight of the property. Lastly, breakfast was phenomenal. The self service is laid out in a way that is easy to follow and the selections are comprehensive and delicious. They had a wide variety of proteins fruits, juices, and pastries to choose from. We would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend anyone experiencing Athens to stay here.
