Great resort, great room, great golf. Can't wait to go back

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff deserves a huge shout out. Car pick up by calet. Bags taken to our room while we were out on a carriage ride. Returned to our room found a complimentary bottle of persecco spotless very comfortable room. Car delivered to door and bags loaded all without a hitch. Excellent stay at this very centrally located hotel.

Room was excellent, except for cold shower. I have never stayed in any resort or hotel where the shower would not get warm no matter how long you left it on. Otherwise , room was very nice.

The room was great and very interesting. Extremely comfortable as well

The staff was very friendly and courteous, the room was beautiful and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. We can’t wait to return!

Upon arrival to the Charleston place , we were greeted by our names by everyone and friendly and informative information ! It was my husband’s birthday, so what a nice surprise for him ! Our whole stay was , great ! From the service to to rooms ! Comfortable and accommodating! Great location and the lounge -bar , I loved ! Warm and cozy and inviting ! I definitely recommend staying here and will go back ! Thank you to all the staff !

Beautiful hotel that is well located to access the best of historic Charleston. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Despite the positives, feel like it was very overpriced. Several specific criticisms: 1) gym is tiny and very poorly equipped - no free weights and no functional trainer and only four machines total (two bikes, one elliptical and one treadmill), 2) Restaurant was closed for renovations forcing you to eat breakfast in the lobby area which had few tables and is right next to the door giving you a nice cold blast of air whenever somebody enters or exits and 3) our room was very small and quite cramped. This is a decent hotel at $500/night, it would be a great hotel at $300-350.

Great place in a peaceful setting. Rooms are nice and each/most have fireplaces. Staff is friendly and check-in is easy. Convenient walk/drive to Middleton Plantation which is amazing.

Pros: location! Location! Location! Close to shops, the Market, restaurants and bars! Cons: property needs updating! Carpet has holes, bathroom needs to be updated. Heat didn’t work ( it was in the 20s and it snowed), bed linens were old and frayed and the bathroom towels were extremely rough!

Clean and comfortable room. Great staff. Convenient parking. Happy hour.
