Hotel was great and smelled so good!

We go here very frequently and take our pet too. The hotel rooms are clean and staff are friendly. The breakfast is very good too with an omelette counter.

Decor of the rooms and hotel is beautiful. We had a very anoying industrial humming that we heard from our rooms, never stopped…all day, all night! We thought it was the airco,but it wasn’t. It was really disturbing. Made our stay a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was nice, though very slow, on Friday, today it was good. So all in all, we liked the hotel very much, but would reconsider staying again because of the noise.

Pros: close to train station, connected to convention center and a dead mall. Area seemed on, but it was brick cold and I didn’t get out much. Cons: place is a bit tired. Couple of wild events going on (cheerleading competition and narcotics anonymous?) Had to wait a long time for the elevator. Gym was in a different tower so I didn’t use.

Be very careful with the platform beds. The platform its 5 inches wider than the mattress, so we kept banging our shins against it as we turned the corner, using the mattress as a guide and forgetting about the protruding platform. It also made getting out of bed a bit harder because you can't plant your feet directly on the floor below you when you sit on the edge of the mattress.

Classic New England Inn with wonderful views and service. Great hotel bar and drinks on the lawn out front was a highlight. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

Friendly and peaceful setting

The front entrance and the parking lot across the street were not sufficiently lighted, walking was a bit treacherous. The shower door in our room needs to be realigned, very difficult to open and close. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay and plan on returning.
