South Denver Cheap Vacations

Well not exactly the caliber we were expecting, the bathroom door would not close it was a pocket door and it took 2 of us to get it to move and then it would only close part way, some kind of electrical box flashed brightly all night!!!. No coffee pit in room and 1 cup of coffee at the restaurant was $8.00 nope not for my wallet. Early day front staff was pleasant and professional. Late evening staff was dressed like a homeless street urchin not professional at all. A very expensive hotel room but a one star experience.

The hotel is very nice and well maintained. However, because it does allow pets, some people do not have a problem leaving their dog pee without cleaning up. Sadly, it does reflect on the hotel. Also, limited eating options on site, but they were decent.

This is a no nonsense, quaint old Taos meets Santa Fe style hotel in downtown Golden CO. Our room was comfy & clean with plenty of towels & amenities (products & coffee.) The restaurant & bar was a convenient bonus right in the hotel. Valet parking was convenient & easy to use.

The bathroom had some issues. Toilet was loose from the floor and the shower had some moldy areas in the caulk

Room was large and nicely furnished with a beautiful high ceiling. The union station location is great with lots of restaurants and bars. And so convenient for catching the train to the airport!

The staff was extremely friendly and the room was awesome. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Teatro Review Title: Avoid this place. 1-star service masked as a 4-star hotel. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I had an incredibly frustrating stay at Hotel Teatro and cannot recommend it. This property completely fails to live up to its 4-star rating. At best, it functions like a 2-star motel with a luxury price tag. The issues began immediately at check-in. The lines were massive, extending way past the standard check-in time. Because the front desk was so severely backed up and slow, I actually missed my dinner reservation. When I brought this up to the staff, the dismissive response was, "everyone in this line has the same problem." That level of poor customer service and total lack of empathy is unacceptable. To make matters worse, they sneak in a massive $100/night "hotel amenity charge" on top of the steep room rate. The room itself was incredibly standard and completely lacked basic luxury expectations. There were no standard bathroom amenities provided that you would expect from a 4-star property—no shower caps, no Q-tips, nothing. The entire experience was underwhelming, overpriced, and ruined by terrible service. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually values its guests. This “4 star” boutique hotel had a request only cleaning policy, I requested the room be cleaned and it was not . After getting back late that night I called the front desk and was told there were no cleaning staff available !!!!! As if lat at night I would wait for my room to be cleaned !

Room was ok, housekeeping never came into room to give us new sheets or towels even after asking twice.
