Kona Coast Cheap Vacations

Rooms were great, exactly what we expected from the photos, one thing to consider is parking, there is only one parking spot at the room, visitors will have to park else where, depending on location it may be a walk.

I really enjoyed my stay here.. met all my expectations. Wasn't until the last couple days I ordered food to back to my room at the food truck by the pool and was left highly disappointed... if I ate near the pool and not packaged to go the food portions were appropriate.. otherwise i felt completely ripped off. Don't want to punish the resort for a couple few bad actors that seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Ordered food on 6/2 @ 11:30am.

many things to like about this resort but also few criticisms too. A big highlight that was beneficial to our stay was the complimentary refillable water bottles. There are many refillable water stations throughout the resort and we took them out everyday around the island. Another amenity is the free shuttle rides throughout the Mauna Lea district for food options or entertainment. I did like the proximity to a private beach for snorkeling and/or swimming. I can't forget about the complimentary coffee at 5-6am. For the critiques, I'd wish they had a bigger pool. It does get crowded and ppl are scrounging for lounge chairs. Other resorts have bigger pools with splash pads to give some fun for the kiddos. Also for the room, we found it difficult to live out of our suitcases since there isn't any drawer space. They have a lot of hanger space tho. It is a very beautiful resort with many amenities to keep you busy. If I'm ever lucky to return to the big island, I wouldn't oppose a return

Everything was great about the resort i wasn’t happy about was going to the restaurant at the hotel and being ignored by two of your servers a female and a male .

Good location. Safe for cars, kids and your stuff. Good parking. Park and walk k town because you’re in the middle of it right on the ocean. Walking to starbies which opens early for us mainlanders that are on the move. Ate at lava java for breakfast. Good! If you have a rental car, the wider parking spots are on the side, not the front. Enter from Ali’i not kuakini. Press the button and park on the side. You will be right next to the farmers market and the Am walk to the wall. If you like stronger coffee in your room, buy it from starbies already ground. Local coffee is so so. That’s my honest thought, you do you. Kona coffee is light. The place is quiet. Our condo was small and that is what you want. The ac cools it quickly. Always get as small of a car and room as you can. Ac cools immediately that way. Mini fridge was clean and there is a microwave to reheat. I think the view of the pool and the torches at night was nice. The inner quad view has a lot of beautiful plants and trees that add privacy. Room is clean and was ready. I requested an early check in and they accommodated me. Farmers market wed-Sunday Ribeye at Dons is good. You can stick drinks / snacks from abc right down Ali’i. I would stay here again. It’s clean and walking distance from all of main Kona town. Did not see many kids…and there is no outside playing area except the pool area.
