Lanzarote Cheap Vacations

Great first impression, lobby is beautifully presented and smells lovely, check in nice and relaxed with seats and drinks! Room was fantastic, very spacious, great sea view (especially at sunrise!), comfy and large bed, clever and well thought out controls. Breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, lots of options every night with different themes giving plenty of variety, and always some plain options for picky eaters Pool and bar/grill area was great, with more tasty food and gorgeous views over the beach. Hydrothermal circuit in the spa was lovely and relaxing, we particularly liked the recommended order to help those less experienced get the most benefit, and the pool had so many different features that gave massage-like experiences. All staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and spoke good english

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The all inclusive premium was great and offered a really good selection of popular drinks and nice food options. Our room was lovely and we really enjoyed the swim up pool but some areas felt like were getting tired and floor tiles were starting to crack in places. We really enjoyed the different restaurants, Oceana especially, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We really enjoyed Portofino’s breakfast options but felt we were let down during evening service a couple of times and had to follow up with drinks (food came before drinks) and deserts were missed after ordering. It did feel like some restaurants and bars (with our stay being at the beginning October) were running on lower staff numbers, the waiters and waitresses on hand were doing a lot of running around and working exceptionally hard but we couldn’t help but think another 1 or 2 members of staff in each area would really help the existing staff and guests have a better experience. We enjoyed the spa but only visited once due it to being an additional charge to the all inclusive premium. We made use of the padel court and gym (at no extra cost) which were great. Location was lovely too for coastal walks / running and easy access to the port.

Our second stay at Los Zocos (5-12 July) following a trip there in Feb of this year. It was much busier this time compared to February. The only downside was the race to get a parasol in the morning. One family was getting up at 5:30 to secure theirs and we ended up having to get up between 6:00-6:30 to find a decent spot. It was hot so we needed a parasol to stay by the main pool all day. The quiet pool is less busy though. That was the only negative. LOCATION Just amazing. A couple of minutes walk to the beach with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Costa Teguise is relatively flat so good for long walks. APARTMENTS We stayed in Block C this time and loved it there. Our balcony overlooked the quiet pool and was shaded in the afternoon with a lovely breeze. The beds are very comfortable, it's clean, quiet and perfect for us. FOOD Great choice with something for everyone. Proper bacon in the mornings is a bonus. Lots of chicken, meats, fish, pasta, chips, veg etc. Snack bar does lovely food - paella, pasta, burgers, hotdogs, chips... DRINKS Standard local booze, slush, tea/coffee. All pretty standard across AI. STAFF This is where Zocos excels - the staff are all AMAZING! I wish I had more space but they are all so friendly and helpful. Special mention to the lady in the restaurant who always found me a nice cool table under the AC and Alejandro in the Galleon bar - what a couple of legends! There are loads of activities throughout the day and evening with the team.
