Andros Island Cheap Vacations

Good base location. Pretty hotel lobby. Best part was the private beach. Nice little beach, with water pedal bikes you can borrow. Saw sea turtles and cool fish while on the bikes. the only complaint is that more chairs/umbrellas should be made available, even if for sale, we could never find any. Our room phone did not work and was never fixed and there was a weird fishy smell on our side of the hotel (it was not us lol), had to keep the windows open to air it out.

It was ok. Hut tube out of service, gym outdated with broken equipment, very crowded pool and beach area. Some staff members were amazing with exceptional customer service skills like Romell. Very friendly, genuinely welcoming, while others have an attitude and look bothered. Food is so so. It was not what I was expecting from a Riu.

Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff. Beautiful beach, fun waterpark, nice pools. Many choices to eat. The only thing I’d change is having a couple more reasonably priced restaurants for families.

The entire staff is wonderful, gracious and so helpful. The location is excellent if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway, far from the large resorts. Old Fort Bay Club is beautiful, situated on a stunning beach without crowds of people. Very good food (we preferred the Italian restaurant over the Asian). Gym is very good and the pool is decently sized for those who like to swim laps. Room and bathroom are clean and spacious. The only thing missing is mini fridge.

Really helpful staff. Great free coffee. Little water in room. Great A/C and comfy bed. Big minus was pool being out of action, not told and we planned on using that for a day. Also quite far from town center but handy for airport.

My stay at Goldwynn Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas was nothing short of exceptional—truly a five-star experience from start to finish. A special thank you to the incredible front desk team, Latisha and Achantae. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our trip was perfect—no request was ever too small. Their attention and care made all the difference. They even helped us arrange an unforgettable private 4-hour boat charter, where we explored some of the Bahamas’ best sights, including Pig Island, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and enjoying a floating bar. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel itself is pristine. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The pool is perfectly heated to 88 degrees, making it ideal for a relaxing swim at any time of day. The food is also top-tier—fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and truly outstanding customer service, do not waste your time searching for another hotel. Goldwynn is the place to be. I will absolutely be returning in the near future and already look forward to my next relaxing stay.

We stayed there for a 50th wedding anniversary and it could not have been any better. It truly was a magical vacation in every regard! A+++

Unreal property and service. Travis and Nelson were incredible & set us up every day for fun Don’t miss the free access to Atlantis if you have kids and they love waterslides

Some of the staff were rude and unhelpful. There was also multiple nights of yelling and boisterous activity by guests on our floor that woke us up three of the four nights we were there. We called and complained and nothing was done. The food at breakfast was also really disappointing and expensive.

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.
