MacGillycuddy's Reeks Beach Vacations

The hotel is nice enough, and in a decent location to have quick access to Galway. We requested a king room; we’re not sure why there was a king bed plus two other single beds in our room. That wasn’t a problem, but it was very odd. One big item that made us quite unhappy: a total lack of hot water for a morning shower. I can only assume that too many people are getting ready and their hot water just can’t keep up. It was not a pleasant surprise and staff didn’t really seem to care too much. Also, be aware the parking lot in front of the building is very limited, and with very tight spaces. There may be more parking in the back; we didn’t need to check.

Very small rooms that smelt of mildew and stains on the walls. Over priced for what you get. The breakfast was good and all but 1 staff member was helpful. The hotel is in a good location.

A lovely clean hotel. I would recommend to anyone. A short drive from surrounding big cities. Breakfast was divine.

From what I gather, this is a newer hotel. It was very nice, located on golf course with a view if the bay. It is a little out of the way but well worth it. Spa was wonderful. complimentary breakfast and water, juice, milk in the room.

Shabby. Badly in bed of a refurb. Furniture in my room 214 was well past it best. They call themselves a 4 star hotel but it’s 2.5 at best. One receptionist when I was checking in. At least 12 people behind me waiting to do the same. Bathroom stank of smoke. Black tiles had loads of soap / water stains. Door was well worn. Poor quality overall.
