Dalmatia Beach Vacations

Spacious apartment for family of 4 within easy distance of downtown Dubrovnik. Bus was about 10 minutes away and the it's also about a 10 minute walk to a lovely pedestrian only area of restaurants, bars, etc. Communication was excellent, though we did have to wait 20 mins to be checked in. That being said, the property manager walked us through every detail and was very responsive to WhatsApp messages. I've heard from lots of people that it is wise to stay outside of the city, and I 100% agree! Bonus is that there is a small conveinience store on site and beach is a 10 minute walk (do not drive there, it's madness!)

The sea becomes extremely deep almost immediately, yet there is no lifeguard on the beach watching over people in the water. There was only one lifeguard standing passively near the swimming pool area, which has a depth of just 1.5 metres. This is ridiculous considering how deep and turbulent the sea is. In addition, the railings leading into the sea are very old and covered in rust. I did not feel safe at all, especially while visiting with my child. The staff is unfriendly and not willing to reply to more than 2 questions. I don't recommend this hotel for the families with little children.

Hotel Croatia was the perfect place to stay. It offered beautiful views and a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere than Dubrovnik, while still being conveniently located. A short scenic walking path provided easy access to several restaurants, and the hotel also had excellent dining options on-site. The room service was great, and the entire experience was comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent site, very helpful staff- pool is quite good, beach not so great, nearby restaurants were great quality. Very well equipped apartment but Some strange smell in apartment maybe old built. If I were to change anything I will probably go for villa instead of apartment.
