East Texas Beach Vacations

Eh, it was okay. For what I paid, I thought the amenities would be better maintained. Spent multiple days continuously having to call the parking attendant bc my hotel card wouldn’t work to open the gate to the garage. I do appreciate that there were in/out privileges. Lastly, my toilet didn't work for two days. It stopped working late the first night, and when I told them about it the second day instead a professional apology, their response was “Why didnt you tell us on the first night?” Valid response, poor delivery. There are better hotels in galleria to stay at

Room was clean. Unfortunately there was an event going on at the hotel that we were not alerted to until the day of our stay via text. Our room was directly above the restaurant where the event was being held.

The staff was very helpful and also came by several times to give us free bottled water and chocolate!

The front desk worker when I checked in was more “anti-help” than anything. It almost ruined my stay. Luckily my room card worked on the side entrance so I didn’t have to see her again. It was clearly an older hotel but they have more rooms than most in my budget. I found it weird that old building code did not require exhaust fans in hotel bathrooms. It is the only hotel ever that didn’t have one.
