The best place i have visited. It made me feel at home

Had a lovely stay, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Nice hotel in a very quiet and pleasant place by the beachfront.

Overall this is an okay place to escape for a short period of time. The staff are nice and helpful, however: - if you do “all inclusive” expect more things to be excluded than included. They are not very generous with this. - very strict hotel policies that impact guest experience. For example we asked for a late checkout and inquired if there was any guest arriving to use the same room that day. The staff said no one was coming to use the room, but if we wanted a late check out it would be charged $50 (USD) to use the room for two more hours. This is just poor hospitality and guest experience management. As soon as check out time came we were charged even for a bottle of water. - amenities: the property itself is great but small things like the gym are in very poor condition. Additionally bar hours are limited and they call close by 11pm. - staff: this is definitely where they do well with very nice staff, but again expect them to follow strict policies with no exception or flexibility.

The best place i have visited. It made me feel at home

I loved the view. The property was nice just far away from everything. If you want seclusion it is for you. You can relax not overly crowded. Great sunsets. Food was wonderful many options. Negative comments: On the website it said Stonetown and city was 1 minute or 2 away but is an hour and 1/2. No other beach Re s nearby. No other restaurants in walking distance. Could not use credit card for excursions. Had to have a taxi take you to an ATM to pay. Some locations had limitations to amounts that is wirhdrawn. This needs to be spelled out before going, it seems. Limited English. Overall it would be excellent if it was not for the unfortunate problems.

We really enjoyed our stay at Turaco. The staff were very friendly and attentive, everything was clean and well maintained, and the food was delicious. There were different activities every day, from crafts and pool games to live music in the evenings. A lovely, relaxing atmosphere and a great place to spend a holiday. We would definitely recommend it!

The Mizangani Seafront Hotel was an amazing, atmospheric bit of old Zanzibar looking out on the Stone Town harbor, and across from the Dar es Salaam ferry landing. They served a wonderful breakfast on the veranda. The reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spacious and filled with beautiful Zanzibari details.

I truly enjoyed my stay. I wish I was able to stay more than one night. It was conveniently positioned. The three pools were added bonus. The breakfast options were nice and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They provided an airport shuttle and it wasn’t very expensive and the driver was very punctual and very professional. They even provided me with an umbrella for the downpour the day of my tour, which was very nice. I would 100% recommend staying with them if you were ever in the Stonetown area it was a very central location as well which made the trip very walkable.
