We spent 3 nights there and were fairly pleased. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower water pressure was intense! My only complaint was an odd odour when you walk into the lobby, but I believe it was just lingering smells from breakfast which is served nearby. I am writing this from our next hotel in PEI that is nowhere near as good as the Chateau Bedford, so thank you.

The Doubletree by Hilton on Hollis Halifax Nova Scotia is a beautiful Hotel near the waterfront and central in the city for everything your heart desires. The hotel has no heat during the summer months and the room was damp and chilly at night. An electric heater was provided but as me being a senior lady the body felt the cold at night. Aug 2026

The staff was extremely helpful. Sandra helped us with the television (Roku). There is a washer and dryer in the facility for free. This hotel had the best breakfast of our trip. There were lots of choices on the buffet. Bridgetown is very small. There are only a few restaurants and they all close early.
