Great spot, close to everything, staff was very helpful, beautiful view from up top

I had a terrible stay at the property. The property lost power while we were out to dinner. I got back to our room found out there is no power and called property manager but she did not pick up the phone. Only text me back via WhatsApp stated there is power outage and only a few houses got affected and she did not know when the power will be back up. I asked her for alternative plan but no response. It is not & humid, we cannot stay in the room. She did not even offer any apology for inconvenience. Just plain ignore the whole situation. At 8:00pm the power got restored, no apology offered. I can’t imagine anyone going on vacation without electricity for a bit more than 2 hours in hot & humid Galapagos, Ecuador. So, stay away from this property.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, particularly Max. The hotel was clean and I enjoyed the top deck balcony. It's in a great location across from the main pier with a handy mini mart next door. The hotel provides breakfast to go if you have a day trip and filtered water on premises for use which I thought was a great offer.
