Clean room and great view of beach and ocean

We have stayed here several times. We will be back next time we come to Pensacola. The property is very clean and the rooms are spacious. We love how private the beach area feels here as compared to when we stay at other places. We love the short walk to the beach with a nice walkway. We also enjoyed the Salty Rose next door for a quick bite to eat and a short walk for drinks while we were on the beach.

Very disappointing experience, especially considering the price we paid plus the $49 daily resort fee. The resort’s outdoor areas were beautiful and well maintained, but our room was extremely dusty and clearly had not been properly cleaned. Dust was visible on the lamps, furniture, doors, table legs, and other surfaces. The carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed, and my daughter found hair in both the bathroom and bathtub. After a long and exhausting flight, we should have been able to relax. Instead, we had to go to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies and spend part of our vacation cleaning the room ourselves. The amount of dust irritated my nose so badly that I had to take Claritin. The mattress was even worse. It was extremely uncomfortable and offered almost no support. Near the edge, it felt like we would roll off, while in the middle, our bodies sank into the mattress. Every morning, we woke up sore and feeling completely out of alignment. The discomfort seriously affected our ability to enjoy our vacation. We reported the mattress issue to the front desk and were offered another room, but after cleaning, unpacking, and settling in, moving rooms was not a reasonable solution. We should not have had to deal with these conditions in the first place. For the price we paid and the additional resort fee, we expected a clean room and a comfortable, properly maintained bed. The beautiful grounds do not make up for the poor room condition. Management needs to take house

The hotel is trying really hard to be a nice hotel. However, if you’re even remotely paying attention you’ll notice that many things throughout the facility are outdated and desperately need an upgrade. It’s not horrible, but it’s also not worth what you’re paying either. There are several better options in Jacksonville. Morton’s restaurant inside the hotel is nice.

One of the best vacation spots I've been in. It was wonderful in everyway!
