Overall great hotel!

This was not a fun or great experience! I booked this room for me and my wife 1 year wedding anniversary and all the things I was promised and told that would happen did not happen. Then when I made them aware what didn’t happen I was promised again it would after we returned from dinner and it still was not. I wanted to surprise my wife and we both were highly disappointed!!

I’m in love with this hotel ! The entire staff was warm, welcoming and the interior is elegant and beautiful. The dark wood paneled walls and bar with large overstuffed furniture makes for a comfortable gathering place The large outdoor pool area includes lounge chairs, towels, cabanas and full service food and drinks. The staff is top notch and very friendly The coffee shop, inside the hotel, was our daily go to for our coffee’s fruit and croissants The staff is fast and friendly Thank you to the staff that kept our room clean and tidy and thank you to Dan at the front desk for telling me about the history of this very special hotel We hope to see you again next year Susan & Guy C

The location is super convenient to events downtown. The staff were helpful and courteous. As you can image being located downtown, parking is hectic during mornings and evening hours. The line can get long waiting for your car to be retrieved. Our room was located along the outside and evenings were supper noisy with vehicles driving by and local music/bands outside. Fortunately, we had a fan to help drown the noise. The beds were squeaky and not very comfortable and the pillows were nice.
