Staff were excellent, so was the food. The room was fine. One downside was the absence of a desk lamp, which made working at the desk a little murky after dark. Also the room walls seem a bit thin; you can hear a lot from other rooms.

Great location with walking distance to all the sights and lots of options for meals. We had a great dinner at Spitjacks 1 block from the hotel. King John’s Castle was a 15 minute walk. The staff were great and accommodating. We had the family suite (room 306), which was very large and beds were comfortable (2 twin, 1 king). We opted for the breakfast in the morning, which was excellent ($19 euro for adults, $15 for kids). It was nice not having a breakfast buffet and the service was excellent. Parking was across the street with a discounted rate of $12 euro. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were big and clean. Beds were well maintained and soft sheets. Breakfast had a lot of options and tasted good. Flat White coffee kept me fresh for the start of the day. Service was fantastic.

My parents booked a room at the same time we did. They paid less money as they got a king bed and we got a family room with multiple beds. It was advertised as two queen beds. When we arrived, it was one queen bed, a twin, and a cot...that is not what I paid for. My parents got free breakfast each day, we did not even though we paid more for our room and all they offered us was $15pp, which would have been an expensive $60 per day for us. The pool hours for under 18 are awful and too limiting. We chose this hotel for the pool and our kids being able to swim at the end of the day, but could hardly use it since it closed so early. That was not advertised on the site. The hot tub was luke warm, at best, and certainly not hot. They told us we would each get a bottle of water each day and it was a hassle to actually get it. The system for the parking garage was inconvenient- I had to stop by the desk every time I wanted to leave for 7 days. So disappointed in this hotel. When my concerns were expressed at the start of the trip, they were ignored so they really did not care that we were unhappy.
