Costa Azul Adventure Vacations

This is a nice hotel, but the rooms are small and the elevator is really small that brings you to your room. The breakfast is good, but not great, they do make good omelets with cheese or cheese and ham, but do not have bacon or sausage for those who might want that. The coffee is ok but not the greatest. They do have little cinnamon rolls and doughnuts and vegetarian quiche and ham and cheese quiche cut in small pieces for you for breakfast also cereal and fruit along with plain yogurt. This hotel is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, but some areas near the train station are sketchy. I would recommend this hotel but know the hotel is old and tiny.

This was our third visit and again this wonderful hotel not disappoint. This was part of a trip for our wedding anniversary and discovered we had been upgraded with treats in the room on our arrival. After a lovely check in where we were recognised from our previous visit, we were brought some champagne and sat at a bar in the lounge area to relax after the cab ride from the airport before being taken to our room to discover the upgrade and some lovely heart-shaped truffles. Breakfast in this hotel has so much choice, from fruits, meats & cheeses, a cooked breakfast and the bread/patisserie section, served with fresh squeezed juice and hot coffee. To date this remains the only hotel where I've been asked how hot I want my coffee served After a day out, we returned and had booked dinner in the River Lounge, where although its not cheap which you wouldn't expect for a 5 star hotel, the food was delicious and good value. An extra "Anniversary" dessert was served as a treat. The bar staff and drinks also exceed expectation with delicious cocktails, beers and snacks! There was some maintenance/refurbishment work ongoing on 2 floors of the hotel, but this was isolated and there was no noise disturbance. If you're celebrating, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel part of the Myriad family and we will be back again!

Beautifully maintained. Staff was very courteous in allowing us an early checkin. Great breakfast buffet ! Beautiful location
