Choose other resorts. The amenities for this resort are not worth the money. There is only one restaurant and its not open all the time. The beach is 1/2 mile walk. The beach is not just for this property but for many others. Staff is very friendly, but not much they can do about the issues.

The location is great. Right by the beach, centrally located to all the attractions. Pool and pool area are great too.
The rest in my opinion falls short of the 4 star, $500+ per night (with all the taxes and fees) hotel. I would give it 3.75 stars but there is no such option. Some areas are dated. You can tell the hotel tries to maintain them by painting stuff over but it shows. For me the worst were supply and return grills for the A/C unit. Very dirty. We actually had been turning the A/C off as much as we could so we would not breathe in the dust!! Thankfully the wonderful ocean breeze helped :)
Breakfast buffet is decent but it falls short of the Marriott's standards. Some more daily variety would be nice.
