The hotel is perfect for a tropical beach getaway. There are no shops or restaurants nearby. So it really is stay on site location. However the hotel offers boat trips & water sports like canoeing. The setting really is paradise. I would go again

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel! The breakfast was delicious and the service outstanding — every staff member we met was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the pool every day and had an amazing time with the crew who always made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Everything was great, the hotel, the staff was really friendly. My only complaint, and I felt cheated, not to say robbed, was the boat trip they offered me to the Rosario Islands. I paid $1,000 for nothing, a complete rip-off. I complained several times at reception and to the concierges, and they did nothing to alleviate the disappointment. Don't accept any boat trips if they are offered to you.
