Great location to easily get into town. Was very clean and staff efficient. Pool area, bar etc nicely done. Room clean, bed comfy, slightly small but fine for what we needed. On a downside, the restaurant is currently closed for refurbishment although it was stated it would be reopening 5 Oct looks like hasn’t started yet. Tea,coffee etc in room but no milk? When requested some I was told they don’t supply it “yet”? Very odd. Our tv had no controllers but on request they were supplied.

A good overall experience. The hotel itself is now getting a little dated and tired - one can imagine it looked its best around 15 years ago. The food at the restaurant was of a very poor standard for city dining. Everything had a 'reheated in the microwave' quality about it - cluggy sauces and frozen prawns. The breakfast experience was quite average $40 pp and barista-coffee is not included - but a Petrol station-type automatic coffee machine is available for those unwilling to cough up $6 for a good morning coffee. The fruit options were a little sad too. As mentioned, it was fine overall - clean, comfortable - but there was nothing premium or impressive about the experience.

The hotel was nice and I had a lovely view of the Sydney harbour bridge, the hotel was an ok location was about half an hour walk to the Quay which on some occasions felt long. The heating didn’t work very well, i never reported it as I managed to figure out how to turn it off, my room became warmer by turning the heating off. The room was a good size. I would like to give some excellent feedback to a couple of ladies behind reception Jayani, Leana and Erith. They all gave me some excellent advice and I felt like they looked out for me, as a solo female traveller I felt reassured by the advice they gave me & areas to avoid. I stayed in a few hotels in Australia over 6 weeks and the interaction with these ladies stood out the most, I'd like to say thank you for being kind and taking the time to listen to me and give advice.
