Gunnison - Crested Butte − Vacances et aventures

We had high expectations for our stay and were disappointed. We have stayed here many times, and this time we’re extremely disappointed in the restaurant. In the past we have eaten 2-3 meals a day there. However, the exclusively Mexican restaurant, Jose’s, had a very limited and expensive menu. And we do not want Mexican three times a day!!(and we realize there was no lunch due to time of year) What about burgers, salads, French fries, and chicken fingers or fish? And the restaurant closed for the season which we understand, but there was no notification of it happening. We went without dinner as we did not want to drive back to town late evening!! The kitchen area of our room is very dangerous. The microwave is very high up and opens down into the face of a shorter person. The dishes are also on high shelves. I had to ask for a toaster (which was delivered promptly). I later found one under the sink and behind the fire extinguisher! The refrigerator made a lot of noise and ran most of the time. The fan constantly running while the bathroom light is on was very annoying. We love the location of the resort and were able to upgrade to slopeside view. We like not needing to go into town a lot, so the new restaurant really weighs on our decision to return.
