The room was clean, adequately sized, and had the basic amenities you’d expect—solid Wi-Fi, a decent TV, and a functional workspace. Service fell into the mid-range category. Staff were polite and helpful when approached, but not particularly proactive. Check‑in was smooth, but requests such as extra towels or information about local dining took a bit longer than expected. The amenities were satisfactory but not standout. The fitness center had essential equipment but felt somewhat limited for a longer stay. The lobby and common areas were well-maintained but lacked the inviting atmosphere found in higher-end hotels. The breakfast is the highlight about this property. Also location is about 2 blocks from the beach! Overall, it’s a reliable choice if you’re looking for fair pricing, basic comfort, and acceptable service—just don’t expect premium touches or memorable extras.

My stay at Hotel Arpoador was wonderful. The standard room is small, so beware if you need a lot of personal space or privacy. My priority is cleanliness and friendliness. I had no cleanliness concerns. I did not see one insect. I left a note on how I wanted my room cleaned (don't make my bed), and that was honored. Eli at the desk, Vitor at the beach, and the gentleman with locs at the front desk were very kind, cheerful, and helpful. The guy with the ponytail working on the roof on 9/27 for breakfast was very friendly and helpful also. This location was easy to uber everywhere and walkable to lot's of places in the area as well. No safety concerns. Hotel right on the beach and they provide chairs and umbrellas. Beware of beach vendors. Verify what you are paying as they tried to charge me thousands of dollars for a few drinks. Thankfully my bank declined it. This had nothing to do with the hotel though. I would 100% stay here again.

Desde la atención, el servicio, la excelencia de su personal en cada una de las áreas, la mejor ubicación de todo Río y cada detalle demuestra que NADA fue liberado al azar en este hotel. MARAVILLOSO. Gracias, sin duda pronto volveremos.
