The room was smaller than expected, which happens, but the bathroom smelled of mold and I did find pockets of mold in the corners of the shower, and in some spots on the ceiling. The shower had a significant leak while being used. The sockets were loose and chargers wouldn't stay connected. loose connections can be a fire hazard. My point? I think these rooms need better maintenace.

Very dated, two single beds pushed to make a double which moved a lot. Coffee not replaced daily.

Okay. We arrived at the hotel. Great location. Water Taxi brought us to the steps of the hotel which is great! The hotel did have breakfast but my husband and I thought we would have given this a C (vs an A or B) grade. Coffee machine good. Just not crazy about the food and worried about freshness of fruit etc. I wish the hotel had a restaurant BUT it is so well located that many many food options very close by. The best thing about this hotel was the location hands down. Some things were not great especially for senior travelers. Some of the safety tape was no longer on the floor warning of steps etc and just needs to be replaced. Safety tape was clearly there before and just needs to be put back to make sure us old timers do not fall. I was also frustrated that so many of the outlets in our room did not work. Also we were given ZERO instructions about our room. We didn’t know that there was a refrigerator until a worker (knocked and entered before we said come in) came to check on the stocking of beverages. Surprise! A fridge. There was an old safe in one drawer that didn’t work and we finally figured out that there was a newer safe that did work. Just no orientation to the room when we arrived. We got there early before check in and had to leave our luggage in an open space which was nerve wracking for me but staff was nice enough to take to our room. For the money, it was an okay value. We definitely want to come back to Venice.
