Lesser Antilles Adults Only Vacations

I am new to traveling abroad. My entire experience at this resort was fantastic from the location which was 5 minutes drive from the airport, to the beach view and my room, to the helpful friendly staff, various pools, restaurants, food variations, different music events and cleanliness of the resort and grounds. The grounds were also well maintained and very eye catching. I found it to be very relaxing and peaceful and the overall vibe of the place was warm and welcoming. Room service and housekeeping were amazing too. I truly can’t think of anything disappointing or negative to share aside from the fact that my time there was too short lol.. I would highly recommend this resort to others. Thank you to all at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort for making my first true vacation away one of my most enjoyable and memorable times in my life. You guys rock!❤️

Overall we had a great experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We stayed in a Gauguin Suite, which felt more like a private villa than a hotel room. Having a secluded backyard and plunge pool was a huge plus and made the stay feel very intimate and relaxing. The beach is absolutely beautiful and easily one of the resort's biggest highlights. The food was surprisingly good. Since meals are made to order rather than sitting under heat lamps at a buffet, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The drinks were ok, although pretty much what you'd expect from an all-inclusive Caribbean resort. That said, this is not the type of resort you come to if you're looking to party. Galley Bay is all about relaxation, reconnecting with your significant other, and enjoying a slower pace of life. The evening entertainment is usually a live band playing music rather than the typical high-energy resort productions. Everything is very low-key and laid back. One thing to note is that the resort itself is fairly small. You can walk from one end to the other in about 10 minutes, which we liked but if you're looking for a massive property with endless activities, this may not be the place. My only real criticism is that some of the staff seemed a bit uninterested at times. Nobody was rude but we didn't experience the exceptionally warm service that many Caribbean resorts are known for. We didn't notice many guests tipping, so unlike other places the staff is not tip motivated.

This place was great. Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of activities, many places to explore. Got up early one morning and took a walk to onDevils Bridge to see the sunrise. Good was just ok at the buffet, food could be warmer. BBQ place on the hiss was awesome! Would stay here again!!
