Beautiful older hotel in excellent walkable location downtown Halifax. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I travelled with my wife and three children so we rented two rooms. They were spacious and clean. No valet parking but the parking garage was conveniently located. The only issue was the elevators which seemed to take a long time. A small inconvenience but that would not stop up from coming back!

I had house flies in the room, staff wasn’t much of a help as they sent someone to find the flies? Plus the room cleaning is every 2 days so wouldn’t recommend the property for a longer stay. Staff wasn’t much not very unhelpful but could do better; definitely not very friendly/supportive. Hotel room was good, but it was all pretty basic, wouldn’t stay again.

We absolutely loved this hotel on our last night in Halifax! It was immaculate all round, the room was beautiful with 2 gorgeous chandeliers, fine bedding linens, very comfy pillows, extremely clean, modern with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a view of the city. I loved the fact that all the bath products were L'Occitaine...great choice. We felt really pampered staying here and it was in a great location where we could walk to everything nearby. The concierge was lovely and helped look after our luggage and was super friendly to deal with. Sutton Place left a lasting impression!

Next level hotel - the place to stay in Halifax. Expensive yes but on the harbour and right next to everything. Beautiful pool and spa, gorgeous speakeasy with a secret knock to enter. Views to die for and amazing staff and beautifully appointed rooms. Loved the restaurants and the room service and a convenient car and driver to drop you off anywhere within a couple kilometers. Couldn’t recommend it more.
