Isla Fuerte Adults Only Vacations

Charming hotel in the middle of the walled city made my stay comfortable and walking distance to the major attractions in Cartagena. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only area for improvement is that the Wi-Fi is spotty depending where you are located on the property.

Everything was great! Despite all the reviews, the food was AMAZING! The service great! The only thing i would make a note of was they have a bird named Coco and if she doesn’t like you, she’ll chase you! (First hand experience) but overall, 10/10 would recommend!!!

The hotel is in the heart of the city within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk to Getsamani. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is very helpful and friendly with recommendations and reservations to the restaurants near by. The rooms are clean. The roof top bar is very nice. Overall wonderful stay. We will return.

My husband and I stayed at Charleston Santa Teresa for six nights to celebrate my 40th birthday in early June 2026 and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! From the welcoming and very helpful staff to the beautiful hotel and amenities and let’s not talk about the perfect location and comfy beds. We truly enjoyed our time in Santa Teresa and would highly recommend it to individual travelers, couples, and families. The pool/rooftop view is priceless!

Perfect location in the center of old town. Stunningly decorated and furnished - felt both modern and distinctly Colombian. The staff were truly outstanding, offering generous and friendly help at every turn. The breakfast is included and delicious. The rooms were perfectly air conditioned and had black out curtains, offering a welcome reprieve from the sun after a long day out and about. The rooftop pool is small but luxurious and has incredible sunset views! We loved it here and will definitely be back!!

The staff at the hotel were wonderful! Jairo and Eduardo were absolutely wonderful. I was greeted with a fruit drink upon arrival. The breakfast buffet was superb. There were so many delicious fresh fruits and juices. The hotel is beautifully maintained with on-site security in the evening. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
