I liked the atrium pool. It was way too hot to be outdoors. There are not enough restaurants. The main cafe had decent food however they were very understaffed! We were there during hot august nights, and there was a line of people trying to get into the restaurant each morning and afternoon/ eve with only one waitstaff available at times. We did have excellent service one evening at the chop house. I had stayed at this property a few times when it was john augusta's and it was much nicer! The drains in the bathtubs did not drain well. The shower control knob was broken.The room was clean enough, but definitely far from immaculate. It is in dire need of a makeover. The guy who was working valet early in the morning of August 10th was by far the friendliest and most helpful during our 4- day stay.

We came there to get married on top of Cave Rock. They treated us like royalty and made our nuptials so memorable! We want to return every year to celebrate our anniversary with them. The view, the beach, the golf, the food… all excellent!

A convenient location for the right price. The inner portion of the hotel is well maintained. However, I noticed that the 2nd floor garage trash can was over flowing for several days. Staff was great. Overall, it was quiet. The bed was awesome and the room was quite spacious.
