Barbados Honeymoon Vacations

We stayed in a beautiful villa with a washer/dryer and fully functional kitchen. The terrace was to die for and looked over the pools, gorgeous grounds, and ocean. On-site restaurant was delicious, but a bit slow. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Love the Hilton in Barbados and have stayed there a few times but this time there was construction going on which was loud and woke us up every morning and the workout facilities were closed down for renovations. This was extremely disappointing. The staff are outstanding but the room cleaning service seemed to be short handed and our room was still not cleaned at 4:00 in the afternoon which was inconvenient as we would go back to the room to get ready for dinner and the room was not cleaned and no fresh towels were given until 5:00 sometimes. Out of the 6 nights we stayed there our room was only cleaned twice as we had to get in to use the room in the late afternoon so we asked them not to come in so we could use the room. Such a shame as we have always had exceptional service previous times we had been there.

The resort is lovely! Pools were excellent! The beach is a very short walk across a laneway. The room was clean and kitchen decently stocked. There are plenty of convenience stores to pick up the basics, or you can hop on a city mini bus (inexpensive) to get to a larger grocery store. There are also an abundance of fabulous restaurants & bars to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay at Divi Southwinds!
