Spain All inclusive Vacations

We felt that this hotel should be a 3 star hotel because it needs to be updated. It was very tatty with cheap looking furniture. It did have a nice pool area and a spa, which we did not use. Hotel was situated on the beach, which was nice. Only ate breakfast, which was nice with a lot of choice. We would not stay here again.

Quite limited all inclusive offer. You are asked to pay for certain products such ice cream at the bar, the drinks are 3 per day per person only. While in the other hotel we were staying for longer period everything was included in all inclusive option that here at the lobby the coffee is priced and there is info about not refilling the water from the big bottle container. The all inclusive refers to the restaurant only. We were staying 1 night only and even though we had arrived late and knew that we are going to miss 1 meal still went for all inclusive to avoid paying for drinks. I would not imagine myself to stay in this hotel for 1 or 2 weeks holiday period. The limitations are frustrating. The food in the restaurant was very good though. The variety of food was big as well. The receptionists were more than helpful so giving them 5*. The view from the terrace was nice, however the other side of the hotel’s view wasn’t particularly attractive as there was a huge wall with graffiti on. The room was spacious and modern and it had a kitchenette. We were happy from having that room. It’s not bad hotel, however the limitations put us off from booking it again.

This is the second year which my family have stayed at the THB Tropical. The reason for our return is the very warm welcome we received in 2025 and the help for my wife's parents who are disabled. Again the staff couldn't help us enough. I contacted the hotel before we arrived and requested a room with a walk in shower (without a step) to enable easier access. This was accommodated with no issue. All the facilities we great and available as and when we needed them. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is close to Playa Blanca Beach, Facilities at the hotel perfect and staff amazing. 10 out 10 and return next year definitely looks on the cards.

We had high expectations for this stay. We have visited Costa Adeje many times but this hotel was a huge disappointment. Firstly the room... do they assign the worst to bookings that aren't direct? Whether that's true or not, it felt like it. We had a junior suite - 232. it was spacious but so dark that you needed the light on during every waking hour. The outside space had a view of metal fencing and overland piping and was equally dark. Then there's the large bathroom window which faces into the main room. It has a blind so you can bathe or shower in private, but it's not blackout. So if your partner goes to the bathroom during the night the bedroom is flooded with light. I'm presuming this is a standard feature of all their junior suites. Then there's the location of the hotel itself. It doesn't have access onto the promenade like so many other of the top end Costa Adeje hotels, it's on the hillside. A 15 minute walk down the hill which is actually fine, but coming back it's hard work up the steep slope in the heat and that's even entering through the lower exit by the swimming pool. Finally, to add insult to injury, we arrived late morning and had advised this in advance yet they still made us wait until the official check in time of 4pm before letting us into the room. Never ever again. Couldn't wait to leave after 2 nights.

The standout highlight of our stay at Grand Hyatt Lanzarote was Ainara in Guest Experience. We have stayed at many luxury hotels, but the treatment she provided was unmatched. She personally looked after all my dietary needs (vegetarian with an egg allergy), checked on us every evening at dinner, gave us incredible local travel tips, and kindly arranged a day on the Balinese beds after we had an issue with the standard pool loungers. The hotel location is fantastic, and the buffet and dining options are surprisingly great for an all-inclusive setup. However, a few areas need attention to meet true 5-star standards: 1. Pool Safety & Comfort: The pool lacks proper entry steps, which made getting in with our 4-month-old baby tricky and unsafe. The mesh pool beds also need an upgrade as they aren't comfortable for long periods. 2. Housekeeping: Room cleaning was inconsistent throughout our stay. 3. Bar Service: Cocktail preparation was hit-or-miss—some bartenders properly crafted drinks while others just mixed spirits and sodas without shaking them. Huge thanks again to Ainara for making our family holiday so memorable! Key Highlights Included: Highlighted Ainara clearly by name (hotels heavily reward employees mentioned positively by name in reviews!). Maintained a balanced tone that highlights her top-tier service while offering constructive feedback regarding safety (baby entry at pool), cleanliness, and bar standards.
