Lower Carniola Mountain Vacations

A gem of a guest house style hotel tucked away up an atmospheric mountain road at the foot of a number of trails, surrounded by forest and with a stream across the front of the property. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options including authentic curry options alongside the more traditional menu. We had a room for 4 which was large enough for two adults and two teenagers. No a/c but with the cooler mountain air the evenings were pleasant. A fan and open window would help keep it comfortable through the night. We had an immensely enjoyable first visit to Slovenia and our stay at Gosticse Draga was a big part of that. Thank you.

Loved the location, walking distance to all attractions. Parking lot also extremely useful. Lovely walking into a cool apartment thanks to the AC. Bed was not the greatest but minor detail, close to the ground since we stayed in the attic. But not enough of a deterrent to keep us from returning. Enjoyed our stay.

Such a wonderdful stay, everything was perfect and dinner was amazing served by lovely Tea and Larissa with beautiful smile. The room was beautiful charming and comfortable. Thank you to the whole team!!

Expedia's review criteria does not contain enough stars to do justice to The Beatrice Apartments!! Our stay was excellent in every way. The host - Ziga- was onsite for much of our stay and he was clearly passionate about delivering a memorable stay for his guests. Everywhere was immaculate - the pool did not have a single leaf in it, the plants around site were healthy, everything was exceptionally well maintained. The rooms were spacious with good facilities. The staff were outstanding - tending to my daughter's bee sting and tidying our room to an immaculate standard. Special mention to Catarina (Katarina?) who was so welcoming and cheery. Try the ice cream in the Greenhouse. Shops are a 3 minute walk away though you need transport to reach town. It is rare to find accommodation of such a high standard.
