We had two separate stays at this Marriott a few days apart. This was our first visit to Zurich. Both times the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Small bathroom. 8-10 minute walk from the train station, so very convenient.

Disappointing Experience – Not What I Expected from a Hotel Called Bristol We stayed at Hotel Bristol in Geneva for two nights last week, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I am very familiar with the magnificent Le Bristol in Paris, so naturally, the name created certain expectations. However, I discovered that the Bristol in Geneva is not affiliated with the famous Parisian hotel. While the guest rooms have been renovated and are generally comfortable, the overall design leaves much to be desired. Even in the renovated room, the floor was covered with an old-fashioned, dark brown carpet that felt completely out of place and detracted from the appearance of the room. The lobby feels more like that of a three-star hotel, with inexpensive-looking ceramic flooring and an outdated, uninspired interior. The corridors, doors, and common areas are old-fashioned and lack the elegance, sophistication, and attention to detail one would expect from a hotel in this price category. The breakfast itself was good, but the buffet was arranged in a very small space, making the experience crowded and uncomfortable in the morning. Overall, I would describe this as a three-star experience at a five-star price. For a hotel in this price category, I expected considerably more in terms of atmosphere, design, and overall quality. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

Absolutely loved staying here! It was so clean and the amenities were great, especially have access to their sister’s hotel spa! Breakfast was delicious and the staff who ran it were so friendly! Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Zermatt!
