Fortunately, they didn’t bother hotel guests but get a bit crowded when the protest at the lobby though. (1,284 reviews) We had a great stay at the Royal hotel - the location was amazing fo first timers in Seoul - the airport taxi found it easily and it was steps away from the main hub of myendong - and there is a Starbucks and convenience store across the road. Check in was simple but the long lines for the lifts were a bit much. Our room was more spacious than it looked with a small seating area and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom amenities were excellent- the toilet was fabulous and the water pressure was perfect. There is a fridge in the room that we appreciated and used daily. We only had breakfast once and it was average at best for the price but the view while it was snowing was worth every penny ! (About £17 for a small buffet) The cleaning staff are wonderful and it was lovely to return back and have it so clean and tidy it was a highlight for us.
