Decent hotel, with a nice walk into the centre.

This hotel clearly had its prime some time ago and is now due for a refurbishment. It is clean, I’ll give it that. The staff are fantastic, and the food is as good as ever - but while it used to impress a few years ago, it now feels quite outdated. The heating/air conditioning system is old and barely works, making the room stuffy and weird temp. The amenities are well maintained and clean, but the old carpet had a strong smell of cleaning chemicals making stuffiness even worse. We only stayed one night, but for a longer stay we would have definitely asked to move rooms - we both woke up feeling congested, puffed with what seemed like an allergic reaction. For the price, you would expect a higher standard, especially considering how quickly Gdańsk is developing and improving. If Qubus doesn’t invest in updates, it risks falling even further behind the competition.

Location is absolutely perfect for everything. It’s very quiet during the night despite the huge food hall and bar downstairs. The rooms are absolutely immaculate and the staff were really helpful and gave us loads of ideas and advice. It’s so good we have booked to go back! You won’t be disappointed if you book this accommodation.

Breakfast was good with lots of options but with the hotel being European, some of the options were not what we were used to.

Bathroom, linens and towels were clean but carpet had not been vacuumed very well and was stained quite badly. Definitely could use a good shampoo cleaning. Conveniently located to restaurants and train station.
