Salthill Fishing Vacations

We stayed in the area for our first three days in Ireland and it was our hub to get around Ballyconneely and Clifdon as well as Galway. The hotel staff was very accommodating and the restaurant was great. We booked a larger room with a living area and bar and it was great. Rooms were clean and the area was quiet during the evening hours. O'Grady's for dinner next to the water was great. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and the food was great as well as the staff. Great overall exprience at The Twelve Hotel.

Hotel was so historical and quite quaint and charming. Located right in the center of Latin Quarter so only steps away from a good time!

Staff was very friendly, the gym and amenities are incredible, and the location is perfect. Will stay there again my next Galway visit.

The stay was enjoyable and the hotel excellent. Of particular note was te quality and friendliness of the service - especially in the restaurant. We were charmed.

Reception person was so very phenomenal and the rooms were super spacey and luxurious feeling! I wish they had a few more amenities like a pool, hot tub, happening bar etc. good location. Staff for breakfast were kind enough but not super friendly if this makes sense. Hard to get refills on coffee, creamer, etc. overall super pleased with our trip!

This hotel is amazing. Everything is beautiful. Would without doubt recommend.

There was a university gala and they were located in the reception. Not ideal for people checking in.

A very nice place to stay, especially as we were in the old part of the property which has loads of character. We had a big, comfortable room with sitting area. I particularly liked that the TV was hidden away behind doors so did not intrude it's presence into the room. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is first rate. One down side is that, surprisingly, there is no kettle in the room and ordering hot water or tea from downstairs is tedious and inconvenient. The other minor issue that we had was that the option I chose to book specifically included free parking which implies that there would be parking reserved for me as it was include in my room description. This turned out not to be the case and the small car park was already full. This all got sorted out by the helpful front of house people but it was another irritation that took the shine off a very pleasant visit.
