Its central location was a delight and ease of making it to Saint Mark’s Square, the water taxis and gondolas. While not an issue for some, be prepared to lug your luggage to the first floor via the stairs as it has no elevators. Rooms are small, but well appointed, and hopefully you’re not in Venice to spend all day in your hotel room.

The property is smaller than the photos on the Hotels.Com website and the room shown was not the same room as we had. It was clean and comfortable. The big plus is the location, it is very easy to get to the major tourist attractions around the San Marco area.
