"We had a wonderful 2 night stay with our springer spaniel. Great location for canal walks and very quiet despite the proximity of the motorway. The staff really stood out as being friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed every aspect of our weekend there."
"From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north."
"Fantastic place ! We stayed in the Parisian room and it was absolutely stunning. Loved the little touches, electric blinds , TV in the bathroom,espresso machine etc .. also right in the middle of KL , all different type of restaurants. Breakfast at the Royal was very nice too ! We will certainly come back and will try a different room next time !"
