Very nice room and bathroom, newly refurbished. Warm welcome, delicious breakfast. We liked the 9-10am serving time. Disappointed the bar closed at 9.30pm. Dogs welcomed nicely, despite having failed to book them in when making the reservation.

Comfortable, friendly pub stay
Just a one night stop but very pleased with our choice. This was a pub that has been fairly recently refurbished in a pleasant, modern but rustic-looking manner. Our room was small but cosy and absolutely spotless. One concern was you could see round the door into WC/shower room. In the restaurant the food was beautifully served and was mostly tasty. However, my dessert had an unexpected odd texture which let it down. Breakfast (included) was excellent! All in all a lovely place to stay when visiting local nature reserves.

Good car park and convenient for our journey south from Oban. Public area carpets seemed grubby but the decor was nice. Our room was small but comfortable and clean. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent and far better than many good restaurants - an excellent Chef.

No room at the inn & a parking fee to pay
Got to hotel & they didn’t have a room for me! Said must’ve been double booked! Couldn’t get hold of Hotels.com customer service and had already paid which was non refundable! Hotel said they had a sister hotel 30 mins away which I drove too only to find I had to pay for parking when I specifically chose a hotel with free parking. Sister hotel was horrible and not what I would’ve booked. On phone to hotels.com for one hour with no resolution!
